We have just launched our latest catalogue.
While it is the Aussie catalogue for 2011/12 it also contains many of the 2011 UK Nike and Aero products.
Follow the link to see it and download it. http://www.aerocricket.com/about/latest-news/545-4-march-2011-aero-launches-201112-australia-catalogue.html (http://www.aerocricket.com/about/latest-news/545-4-march-2011-aero-launches-201112-australia-catalogue.html)
I'm happy to answer any and all questions about this.

Still not a huge amount of info on the inners, can you explain materials, sizing and benefits?
thanks

Philip is the Aero vintage gloves and pads the same version which is available in the UK, they look a little bit different from the ones i have seen especially the gloves however perhaps the image i had wasn't the best. Also when will the boots arrive in the UK or has this already happened.

The vintage pads and gloves are definitely different to what i saw at taunton

I'm guessing they will be better for throwing the ball at the stumps, that has to be one advantage over others!

Hi Rich. As far as I know the Vintage products are the same (or at least they should be) - it's possible that the samples and photos that have been doing the rounds in the UK are slightly out of step with what is actually going into stores but the differences if any should be pretty marginal. Having said that the new Vintage gloves that we are launching down under do have silicon impregnated on the palms to improve grip. We couldn't get the testing completed in time to launch that model in the UK - that may explain some of the graphical differences.
The new Nike flywire shoes should be on store shelves in the next two weeks.

Yes - helping keeper to throw better was one of the key performance improvements we were looking to make. The P1 inners have grippy silicon on the fingertips. This holds the inners inside the gloves better, but it does mean that your throwing technique needs to be adjusted slightly. Apparently, its no problem after you've trained in them for a bit.

love the aero vintage pads and gloves any prices for them...
-
RRPs (before the retailers apply their sales discounts) are:
- Pads - £60
- Gloves - £45
So I reckon you'd get them for £55 and £40 or thereabouts.

i must say i like the forearm guard
-
Just wondering whats the differences between Nike Air Zoom Century 2 and Nike Air Zoom Opener 2? Is it just the materials used?
-
i must say i like the forearm guard
Tried one on at Lords, was a bit restrictive to be honest unfortunately, rest of the Aero gear looked great.
-
ah cool i dont actually wear one just my ayrtek one which is not really a forearm guard as such just looked good

Can someone please email me the pdf to kulli23@hotmail.com, for some reason it won't load for me :(

There are quite a few differences between the Opener II and Century II:
- There is a lot more flywire in the Opener to it should be a more stable feeling shoe with less foot slippage inside
- Part of the sole is made with dual density foam meaning that the high stress parts of the foot are better protected and there is greater flexibility in other parts of the shoe
- The shape of the Opener II is slightly different to the Century II. The Century II has a slightly higher cut
- The Opener II has a full air zoom sole whereas the Century II has a Air Zoom heel unit only
The differences between the Pace II and the Yorker II are similar.
I hope this helps.

The sizing guide matches that used for our batting hand protectors. P1 and P2 come in L, M and S. The P3 XS will come to the UK next season. See sizing guide here - http://www.aerocricket.com/equipment/sizing-guide.html (http://www.aerocricket.com/equipment/sizing-guide.html)

Where can you get the Aero Vintage stuff in the UK?

Question about the Latest P2 stripper. How much has the inner thigh been altered? I have some from a few years ago. I often take one inside the inner thigh pads. I have looked at getting an inner and outer thigh combo but whilst being 6ft + i am rather slender. So mens size thigh pads are too big for me. This is why I wear Medium strippers despite being large on the scale.
How much has the inner thigh position been altered?
-
Hi,
Are the custom pads still available? The website custom area has been down for finishing touches for a while :S
Really like the pad which had the blue wash (probably a bad description) back to it, and would like to know if that could be put to match on wicket keeping pads as well (would love them to match :D)
Also are the P1 inner gloves velcro strapped on the wrist? looks like they are but wanted to be shore.

P1 inner gloves are velco strapped. Great gloves.
