make sure you go down there, stand to the side and have a couple of sighters- stand to one side and watch them go by.

make sure the feeder holds the ball up for you before putting it in the hole.

Have decent gap between feeds so you can get set up in stance.

Make sure your feeder isnt a muppet and knows how to adjust length, line, speed.

For me I see bowling machine as a groover of technique, not a toy for feeder to try aand get you out and make you look a fool!

Agree with that one mate!
Don't rush is what I would say. Better to get through, for example, 2 slow sets really well rather than 3 rushed ones where you played worse, and as golders said, I guess you could do an eye-in set, shot grooving set, and mixed-up set...at least that is what I do :)

But wasn't Fulton wearing a lid...? :( - That was shocking when I saw that. :| - luckily I've only really been hit on the thighs by a bowling machine, unfortunately I didn't use thigh pads at the time..

Cheers guys,

Had a good session just kept it at steady 60 today, next week think may crank it up to 70.

Made them scurry hit one out of the screws just to the on side of straight.  :)

Will work on drives outside off stump next week & shirt of a length.

Built up to 70 as relatively new to bowling machine.

Is there a speed i should be looking to build up to or do you just start pre empting the bowling machine.
