May be a stupid question but what does the button at the back of Ayrtek helmets do?
-
One is an air release valve and the bigger one is the actual air pump for the liner inside to inflate to the wearer's head shape/size.
-
Good work Joseph!
-
My pleasure lol
-
Have got some fitting instructions somewhere that explain it....will be on the website shortly
-
And I thought this was an F1 thread ???
-
Now that is a crap sport.
-
So how does the pump work?
-
you push it in mate like a pump and the air goes around the little modulas in the helmet infalting them so you get a good comfort fit.
There a nozzle at the side of the button/pump to deflate all you do is press it in...
-
Oh ok, thanks mate :)

Those 4 key points remind me of that daft punk song.
Good work with these posters though. Clean, Simple and Easy to Understand
-
Yeh think iv confused a few people on our Facebook page with the buttons one lol think we need to make it more easily understandable on our website so people know what's actually inside the helmet
-
Doesnt the pump strictly make the liner bigger (making the head space smaller), not sure if that reads perfectly.
-
Yeh bit of an oxymoron really, liner gets bigger and therefore smaller in circumference as more air goes into it :)
-
yeah tom amend the poster, the liner gets bigger when air is pumped into it!
