Very old RNS Larons aprox 5-6 years old..
never had a referb in its life so found it garage and thought it was ideal for a bit of a tidy up.
if i remeber correctly think it has around 9 nice grains with two being heartwood.....
this is my 1st attempt at anything like this. started it yesterday had lots of head ache trying to remove the old stickers and face tape etc...
still got alot of glue to remove from the face etc
these are the before shots will get some pics up 2night of where i got to yesterday.

use a stanley knife blade to scrape off all the fibre webbing mate as saves blocking up loads of sheets of sandpaper then with the glue and will make it a much faster job once they glue is out of the way

loosen glue with a little bit of spirit [dab onto it with a cloth or tissue] then blunt edge to scrape off... [sharps may dig in]
If spirit is drinkable take a couple of swigs, if girlfriend, wife, life partner asks tell them you are refurbing a bat!
PS Put Radio 4 on
PPS Once bat refurb is done, refurb the workmate please
