the one on the far right, is that heartwood in the middle at the toe/end of the bat?

thought it might have been wax, looked an odd shape for heartwood.

nice looking bats, not sure on those grips however

Ahh okay, no worries pal!

Personally I really liked the grips but everyone has different taste.

Good thing to see is that Jones bats are not that BIG or HUGE etc like pro bats are.

such lovely bats, i used one of Jonesy Bat's which he gave to my cricket Friend Johnson. g (think johnson went up with jonesy when he picked them up off you) 
The bat was amazing, and highish middle great ping :)
