Just as we thought laminated bats are banned ... I mean is this thing real ???
-
I don't know how many times it has to be said that Pro's will use laminates that have a thin layer of wood on the front to improve rebound rather than stick a lump of wood on the back to make a huge profile...
-
must be really dry
-
But we don't even know the weight of it... might be 3lb 3 for all we know
-
Ether way a laminate is a laminate whether the wood is on the front or back.

I think your missing the point.

I think your missing the point.
Not really I was just stating the fact that a laminate is a laminate irrespective of where the additional wood is. I wasn't suggesting that the above bit is a laminate it could easily but one massive bit of wood. No wonder he got bowled, don't think I'd be able to get that massive bat down in time lol

lol quite early to say that and that too without any proof I would say such comments shouldn't have been passed on....
Again we don't know nor we can prove its a laminate so I believe we shouldn't have said that :)
CA have that available as well;

i think you can pretty much say with confidence that asian bats tend to be dryer than say uk bats. hence profile sizes and alot more breakages.
-
I think the breakages could be due to the way they are pressed. Also they are more responsive than UK bats when new. UK bats tend to take more time to open up. There are always exceptions though.
-
True, but breakages could also be due to dryness
-
I like how CA are selling 'TAMIM' bats, which are a totally different shape.

And you've just asked for an extra dry laver dohh ;) lol
-
true Mike 12% to 8/9% i reckon on the laver
some of the asian one go down to 3/4%.
-
I don't blame you I'd have gone for that option...
My next one will be around 9%
-
My first ss bat was a big bat for the weight and dry as a bone and cracked the first time i used it.
I agree with many points about the dryness and agree most go from ball one well
I wouldnt have thought his bat is heavier than 2lb 10oz though
-
GM dry to 10% as standard, I'd have thought that a Laver would be closer to 6%.
-
And talismans to?
-
12% on normal, less if required by request.
-
Then there's my one that you apparently sent by accident ;)
Did you find the school in the end?
-
I did my ECB coaching there so was an easy find...
Guess who went mad for my big bat, mention no names but they were stunned by it and kept it....
-
Which one the little lam or the low density g3 looks one
-
Oi what big bat? You tease
-
There were a few that's why I'm checking which one
-
i should have come down to the meet shame
-
An invite would be nice lol ;)
-
Ron, you are a big deal and need no invite, just turn up and play a little Jazz Flute...
G3, gone.....
