With the extra anti scuff I have I was wondering if it's a good idea to put an extra layer on the toe.
I think salix did this, the had a couple of inches of scuff under the main sheet at the toe.
Will this have the same effect as taping the toe?
-
Mike does it sometimes and I do sometimes will help protect the toe
-
the thing with the salix is though that the piece on the toe i would say is more like a thin piece of plastic myself :)
but i would say it offers more protection

You always ask questions that I always wonder. Good man liam :)
Post some pics if you do it pal

I reckon I'll give it a go. Will lightly sand my bat later and then put the extra on the toe. It is sticks well I will put the rest over the top.
I just hate having to layer tape on the toes of my bats!

Right, I've just cut the scuff sheet ready to go on the bat and have just over 4 inches of cut off.
Those of you that have done this before, how much cut off should I use on the toe. The full 4 inches or just a couple?
-
Any ideas guys? Got nets in a hour and want to get the scuff on.
Should I just put the full 4 inches on the toe underneath?
-
Put as much as you think I tend to just put it where I think it might break so about 2 inches
-
Thanks, I used the whole 4 inches so it goes up the bat a little bit and it all stuck well which is good!

Pics liam?

I will get some up later
