Alex
what would be the difference between as cleft used for a legend and the clefts used for the L.E models ? sorry if this has been answered elsewhere
-
saw it on the fb page looks much better. very easy to navigate through !
-
I like the layout & design, but there don't seem to be Bat profile pics, which I find a little annoying (unless I'm missing them somewhere) & its says: 'Prices start at £349.99' on the bat page when surely thats the top of the range price?
I just though that seemed to be worded oddly to me.
-
A big site poorly planned and executed, lacking most of the fundamentals I'd want for a site and surely a leading brand like GN can do better.
-
Link out to the taverners site isn't working for me. Looks like the domain is wrong as when you "buy online" it does work
Agree with mike, seems poorly planned
-
fairly simple website, however it just doesnt have the right information on it.
-
Having had a bit of a play throughout the day, it appears that the site didn't get a huge amount of proof reading as prices seem to be on the high side for starting and there are a fair few spelling mistakes. Minor things like the spelling of Preparation on the Bat repairs section and the americanisation of spelling on an English website, e.g. Rigor v Rigour. There are also discrepancies such as the Oblivion Senior bat only being available as a LB, apparently!
I'm not overly upset by the layout though!

A list of 100's of sponsored players, most ex or even long dead, some current ones have nicknames as real, date of birth as 13.3.2011 and even photo's of other players or using Slazenger kit instead of the right picture.
-
You're right about that list of players Mike, it's way too long for my liking. I am sure all some people need to persuade them to go with a brand is the England Captain and V-C using them, as well as some other top-end intl. and country players...
Looks like a work in progress to me, would be interested to see the finished finished state. :)
-
Maybe it isn't properly released, and we are the UAT for it...
-
says most of them were born 2 weeks ago as well.....
D.O.B 1/03/11 ?
-
prob when they created the text etc to test it and still needs amending we did it with our website and filled it with test type to check it worked etc
-
Rob Key's not on the players page?
-
Pretty sure hildreth hit a triple century? His top score on there in 227.
Doesn't look fInshed to me
-
Is it a joke website? With players names etc...
Also alastair cooks top score on there says 502 b? What's that all about?
-
he got 502 in his back garden!
-
That's what the b must mean...
-
The Gary Wilson pic is nice...
-
On the old GN website that 502 of Cook's was said to be scored on Brian Lara Cricket.
I liked how it used to list players' favourite foods. Kamran Akmal's was Quavers...
-
Adam London's one is quite good too Alvaro ;) - bit odd...typo on Yousuf btw Alex..
-
Good base, but it is several days work away from being ready to be published. It has not been proof read/checked at all.
-
the website has let down their quality product. No one has bothered to use their common sense let alone proof read the subject matter.
eg.:
Profile: Low Blade Pre Prepared - since when is PP a description of profile?
Bow: Low Extreme Pro - what is this?
Edge: Maximum Carbo - only GN can explain this??
Michael Yardy - youngest player to play in a WC at 11 days of age :)
Loads of players born on the same day - March 1st and 3rd 2011
No info on grades of bat available and the willow used in each grade.
-
graynics gray-nicolls
Golden Oldies favourite in next years range as gray-nicolls continue the retro come back of Legends.....
Could this be??
