Title: Rounding Edges
Post by: Howzat on December 13, 2008, 08:38:17 PM
Whats the best way to round edges? I have heard about bath tubs but mine is plastic!
Im using the handle of my mallet and rubbing it on the edges is this ok?
Im just worried as the friction makes the bat get so hot!!

Yea I've done mine before on the bath tub but as yours is plastic, bring it down to B&Q etc and use it there. Only Joking.
Yea, the side of a mallet does the job too.

What about the edge of the kitchen work surface if it is rounded.

why is it important to round the edges?

Doesnt that happen naturally when your knocking the bat in?

I've never done this before other than while knocking in the bat, but Im interested in trying it.  Perhaps it does a more uniform job of it?
