What is the best and most effective way to apply one of these?
Cut it to size and then stick it? Or stick it and then cut it?
Also, what glue is best?

Posbably to stick it on then sand it, but only if you have access to a mechanical sander.
-
i swear talisman put a really good guide up a few weeks... cant seem to find it though

Don't have access to a sander
-
Maybe cut it first and then put on...
-
Yeah I will try that now. Not the end of the world if it doesn't work as it was only £1.50 and got some shoe goo on the way

I'd say just go with the shoe goo, forget the toe guard
-
Yeah, but want to try a normal toe guard once again. Shoe goo is a back up
-
I have both... shoe Goo over lapping the toe guard and a cm on the bottom of the face
-
Is yours a factory fitted toe guard?
-
Hand mate
-
glue both surfices leave for 30-1 hour add more then stick clamp then after a day cut roughly to size and hand sand if no sander
hope this helps its the way i do it ;)
-
Anyone know what glue to use. I have a toe guard but no glue left
-
Use a good quality contact adhesive, put on both toes and toe guard leave until nearly dry and they will stick together like s**t on a shovel. Then use a sharpe stanley or craft knife to shape and a quick sand.
