Hi Guys,
I'm looking at getting some new gloves and SS seem to have a good reputation, anyone know how their range works??
IE what is the top model, down to there lower model??
have been looking on a couple of sites and one site has the millennium pro as there most expensive glove , then another site has the super test as the top one!
Then when you go onto SS own website, they don't even have a gloves section on there!! very confusing!!
any help would be appreciated

Best thing to do is check out uzisports mate, there website is very good. The best reviewed gloves tend to be the LE and the super test blue (sangakarra) I believe.
If all else fails ask Asad (aquereshi) and he will sort you out I'm sure

LE & Gladiator are the top of the range.
This year's LE don't have Pittards palm where as 2010 LE [also known as Super Test in Camo Blue] do have the pittards.
All are available at uzisports.com

Harvey

Lukey Sports also have a good range of SS equipment, gloves can be found here:

Harry, are your Super Test camo gloves UK mens or Indian mens?

Mr T....I'll have to check with Asad as I know Indian mens are a tad smaller.

Gladiator are top of the range Sareen Sport gloves according to the distributors if price is the key factor
-
I've got this years limited edition and they are great! Nice and comfy and arent stiff despite being sausage finger design. I've also got a pair of this year's matrix gloves, which are also top notch, they are lighter than the LE's, although the LE's feel like they have slightly better protection.
Go with uzisports, excellent service and products, you can't go wrong :)

I rekon that SS gloves are similar similar protection wise, but what the palm is made of can change the price a bit. From what I've notcied, Pittard's leather gloves always seem to be a tad more expensive than the regular sheep skin leather used on other top of the range gloves. So that's probably why the Gladiator's are the most expensive, as they are Pittards. Although the price's are pretty similar.

Wouldn't rule these out. Similar spec to Gladiator gloves with pittard palms. However being sold through an Indian distributor, so likely to be Indian men's size, thus slightly smaller than UK men's. Depends how big your hands are I suppose.

have a butchers at all that sellers gloves some very nice unbranded and the covered red le....

Is that seller onlinestockist by any chance? Also exactly how small would the Indian Super Test gloves come up versus UK spec gloves? Interested in the red Super Tests but don't want my fingers to poke through the ends...
-
hes got some decent gloves for decent prices it looks
-
I thought that due to the bats and the stickers on the bats.
I have size z fingers and big hands i'am going for a pair mate hope they fit
-
cheers guys, had seen this guy on eBay, seems very reasonable, have emailed him asking if he can get gladiator gloves, (not really a fan of sausage fingers).
how small are Indian mens to UK mens??
-
Not really wanting to spend more than £35 really, considering I got a pair of Bradbury players (2010) pads for £30 the other week, something inside me keeps says dont spend more on gloves than you did pads. lol
-
Certainly not a bad theory although you bought the pads cheap so £32 or so on gloves ain't bad to be fair.
-
I'd also reccomend onlinestockist.com
Ajit is the guy who runs it, and he's a great guy. postage is a bit steep but buy a few items at once and you'll save a lot. Plus the stuff he gets is straight from the factories I believe.

Any update Harry?

Any update Harvey?
Apologies for the delay. I have a suspicion they are small mens. I'll ask Asad this evening once he comes online and give you a definitive answer.

Cheers Harry (got it right this time)

You have it correct on both counts. Harvey is my name, Harry my username.

I've been reliably informed that unless you have large hands the LE 2010 should be fine.
We've sold a few pairs in the last couple of weeks and no-one has come back to tell us that their on the small side.
Hope that helps.
