Ayrtek owners, do any of you bat in your spectatorcles? I've recently been issued with some glasses and I was wondering how you get on wearing the lid and specs in a batting situation? I've not used mine yet as its not been necessary and never had to before as i wasnt aware i was blind!! but I'd like to know how you get on with the fit etc in case I need to wear my jam jars permanently.
Cheers in advance any fellow squinty sufferers :)

PW88 why dont you get contacts?
-
uve seen me net with my glasses with the lid on no issues at all mate
-
I forgot you had specs simmy lol.
Simple answer to that is I can't afford them.
I have one rugby ball eye and one football eye apparently so would need two sets of contacts. And what's takes the biscuit is only one of my eyes struggles (the left) so I'd be paying for two sets of separate contacts to use 1 for cricket once or twice a week during games. Worked out at about £38 a month :( They can forget that one

worn glasses a couple of times and been ok. Got a neoprene strap to keep them from slipping down my nose. Biggest issue is getting the lid on while wearing my glasses and keeping the strap from getting pushed down the back of my head.
Wears a pair of Ayrtek Prescription Specs with attachment when you need it :)

Haha yeah or an Ayrtek prescription visor. Tinted in any colour of course. Brig a bit of NFL tithe cricket world.
-
solultion is to not have cod eye u blind (No Swearing Please) hahaha
-
Says you ya bozzy eyed git!! It's damage from looking at your ugly mug too often.
-
fair point mate.... was just wondering thats all
£38 a month is very steep for contacts
-
It was £17.32 a month for one set and £19.99 for the others I think. I could go pay as you go but that's a pain going to and from opticians every week and wouldn't save me any cash.
