Wondering if anyone has any good exercise to improve footwork when batting? Think it is my footwork letting me down at the moment and was looking for something I can do in the evenings, either in the gym or at home to get lighter on my feet.
Was thinking a skipping rope might do a job as I know thats what boxers use? Any thoughts or ideas would be handy.
Cheers,

i have just started doing this, but i juggle 3 balls for about 3 minutes to get my eye co-ordination going and my hands and then once this is completed i do 3 minutes skipping on one foot then the other then both then running though the rope, hope this helps!

cheers mate. that was the sort of thing I was thinking of and I guess it can't do any harm so will give it a go.
Anyone else got any other exercises / ideas at all?

Thanks Buzz,
I had a quick look and these don't seem to be batting specific. I do quite a lot of SAQ work as I play rugby through the winter and was wondering if there were any specific batting exercises?
