Ive been after some newbery pads and gloves and a bag for ages, and cheapest i could get sps pads gloves and a good bag was round £140 so im really happy with it!

i've got those pads and gloves, they cost me 70 alone, and that was a bargain, you've done very well mate

Don't think it's stated,
but even if it's a plank, you can still use it in nets and with those pads/pad etc I reckon it'll be a decent bat.

Sps supposedely, not that im bothered, the guy didn't know much about cricket and said that the person he was selling it on behalf of said grade 1 willow.
Im not too bothered about a bat, ive been dying for pads and gloves and a bag, and im interested about the albion too!

Yep it does, the guy really didn't know a thing about cricket gear, i asked him about the grill and he said he didn't know what material it was, so instead of asking for a picture, i thought i would leave it as a surprise!
Just happy i got everything so cheap!

how you finding them mate, my pads are have worn badly at the bottom, only been used for about an hours batting

wow, that does look bad, and i've just realised i have a couple of small patches like this, but theyre higher up the pad

ignore that, i've got the same as you, just not quite as bad

theres a few spots like this, i dont wear em low or anything either so cant see how they've rubbed

might just stick abit of trainer whitener on it if it gets worse, i aint that bothered, was just hoping they'd last well!
