Title: GM Original LE or SS Pads

Hey guys

After being told that I am basically not allowed to buy another bat, even though I only have 2. I am however allowed to buy some pads.

I was just wondering what you guys think of the 2011 GM Original LE's, as I am keen to grab some of these from Greg Chappell and would pay a little bit extra as they will be pre-released. GCCC never seem to actually have the LE's only the originals, I would like to know if ordering them will be worth it, so any info would be much appreciated.

I'm also keen to hear about any other pads, as the price isnt too much of a problem, considering that the GM's would cost me $185 AUD/120 Pounds (using XE converter)

I love my LE's. Wore them in my first game of the season on sunday and they were surprisingly light for the masses of protection on them. I would definitely go for them

I do really like the GM's. You know how on some pads you the 3 bar knee roll can extend pass the bottom part of the pad (if that makes sense), and the top part can bend over, do the GM's do that?

My other option would be to get some SS pads off of Asad which would be just as good and would work out cheaper even with the postage, although like I said, the price isnt really a problem.

I have 2009 GM Original LE pads and they are wonderful, very good pads indeed!

GM LE Originals i have used them and they are superb and i have ben hit by really fast balls and did not feel a thing they look nice too with the all white look!!

Thanks guys. I think I will be getting the 2011 GM Le's (assuming the bloke can get a hold of some for me), as they look very nice indeed.

If he can get the pads, I think I may get the LE glvoes aswell. That would bring my glove tally up to 6 :D.

He couldnt get the GM pads for me, so it looks like I'll be going the SS ones.
