Possibly but why would you want that?

Because you might not want an Asian profile...? Thought that would be obvious!
Looks a cracking stick pal!
-
Then just don't buy Legend, simple :)
-
But if you want the quality of the willow, it's more than understandable. And I'm sure you'd want the ability to choose how high you want your middle, if you want any concaving, etc...
-
I do not hink there much of a Asian style anymore look around there a little bit of everything in most brands selection and many little twists
On this bat looks bloody good i bet your happy with that one i would
-
id not say an Asian profile but would say it looks a nice bat and like the profile

Are you just having a bad day?
Nope are you ? he has the bat

I have a few GN Legends if wanted, £250 as £300+ is a crazy price for a standard Indian made bat, got 2 at 2.9 if wanted.

It is not Indian made. It was made in England
-
Mine are Indian made, like the ones in the shops.
-
Mike - are Legends honestlty Indian made? Could have sworn Alex said he was doing them mate?
-
I think what Alex actually did was give a very wishy washy answer, something about 'each model can be made here or overseas depending on demand etc'.
-
All UK GN bats are made in India apart from some Pro's and Customs. Why just make some?

Who are the Indian makers of GN?
-
GN themselves, they have their own factory.

Do they own that factory?

I have no idea, but I'm sure you do..... should you care to enlighten me I'm all ears. ;)

You may be right but this bat indeed is custom.

I don't think all of GN bats are made in India. Alex himself said they are made in UK, India, Australia and few other countries. So in this case I would say Alex knows more than you.
Also I can prove and guarantee if you want that this bat is not made in India.
-
GN Australia make a lot of their own bats.
If you made 10 bats in the UK and 50,000 in India you could still use the line, "Our bats are made in the UK and India". Finance takes hold of these issues, not romance of the UK being better, a skilled worker in India is earning far far less than his English counterpart, maybe 1% of the UK equivalent?
-
I totally understand that Mike and I agree on that fact.
But what I'm trying to justify here is that this bat was Made in UK because it was made in a such time frame that getting a bat all the way from India would have been very difficult and he (cricketer13) was regularly updated by Ian (At GN) as well.
-
I think we have crossed lines, if his bat was a custom made then it could be UK made. My ones are just off the shelf bats.
Back to the topic title, what was custom made about the bat? A different shape?
