I recently got my hands on a new kookaburra genesis 10000 and after seasoning it my first impressions
are very favourable the bat has a lower sweetpot good for my type of of play . :)
Some of the bats features are is that it the carbon fibre reinforced back banned back in 2006 but acceptable in club /
School cricket the middle is amazing giving great ping with no shock and if i middle it it will go like a tracer bullet towards the fence
and despite the amount of wood it picks up amazing it is a 2.9 but picks up like a 2.7 .
The grain profile is alright a evenly spaced 8 wonky grains but i don't care much about the grains more about the performance
Unfortunately Kookaburra discontinued this range 3 years ago because it was one of my favourite bats and was endorsed by Mr Cricket
Michael Hussey pics to come .Nick
