This arrived and to be honest i wasn't sure what to expect as i have heard so much about them both positive and negative. The bat has a decent profile and picks up like a feather 2lb 8oz is the weight which i checked and its correct and that's with the stickers grip and toe guard on it. Absolutely impressed by this bat the quality shape size pick up and willow quality is top top drawer. I can safely say this is as good as ive seen if not the best ive ever seen in over 20 years in the game.
Not tested it in a net yet but i will do as I'm ordering more and will get something in my weight 2lb 10oz as i bought this just to see what they were like so wasn't really ordered for me but i may even end up using this, big profile feather light great shape and the quality is every bit as good as any other brand. To say I'm happy would be an understatement and just cant wait to get some more in and see what others think of them when ive sold a few to friends.

Never say never but unlikely id say

CA TRD is one the best bats I have come across. Got one and its superb. Glad you liked it!
-
Looks great!
Did you order it through a retailer or directly through the factory? The handle issue comes up a lot with Asian bats. What is your opinion at first glance?
-
cant comment on where i bought this however it wasn't anyone from this forum, regarding the handle it all looks and feels fine to me and not a lot different to many of my other bats. They aren't as oval as some handles are or as thick as some pretty much standard id say although the grip could be better but easy changed.
-
Thanks! I was interested last year in buying one but it was at the end of the season so decided against it.
-
Looks amazing! All of TRDs I have seen are absolutely top drawer and I am yet to see a bad looking TRD.
These bats are amazing! I wish I could get one..
-

Unless your eyes are funny Dave you can see the size from the pics ive already added but happy to take another for you tomorrow as I'm off in a min bud but not done anything to the pics bud.
-
not funny but the toe looking upwards is the only way to see the size of a bat in my eyes
soine does not look that big and the edges 37mm at best heavy concaving
looks big but not massive

Have a CA 12000 TRD Dilshan over a Laver Reserve any day of the week!!!
-
Look a good one, hope it does the job for you.
Why can't some people just be happy for others when they get a new bat? Can we try and not let this turn into a 'My bats bigger than yours' thing?
Some people just don't like it when other people get newer toys.
-
Jon me and Rich are mates bud were having banter
i know it big and ii know Rich well and i know he know his bats
I pulling his chain as he does to me :D
Rich i may order one after i get my next bat

Unfortunately no and I desperately want one.
If I go to Pakistan in summer I will try to get one made infront of me in Sialkot :)
Lets hope everything works well :)
-
Rich, I told ya these TRDs are brilliant! FEw of my club mate has them and Gosh I can't take my eyes off the bat when I see it in nets, I really want to play with it!
If anyone is looking to buy a Pakistani bat then the BEST one at the moment is TRD, nothing beats it.
Have seen all but TRD is exception!
-
we have sold 30 + of these in the last 6 months and so far feedback has been excellent.
Regards
Asad

I really like the look of this bat...!
-
CA does seem to be getting a lot of pretty looking big clefts as all the TRDs that I have seen have amazing grains and all of them look big for the weight.
-
Did you get to use this ?
-
no not yet just not had a chance to knock it in, only played one game on Saturday so our season has just started so i will have plenty chance to use it. Hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be ready.
-
Looks a lovely bat, CA do seem to have big clefts! Hope you have fun with it.
I've had 2 CA bats from lower in the range, the old 20-20 bat and the 5000, and they both ping well so can only imagine how well this will go.
-
Loving this bat mate.
Bet you cant wait to use it, hope it gets you a bag full of runs when you do
-
well it cant cat me any less than i got on Saturday lol.
-
Dying to use my CA, get the chance on Wednesday eve....cant wait
-
Yer i just got a TRD 2.10 really nice piece of wood 12 straight grains picks up well 40 mm edges ect...However the toe on these bats is very thin as i am sure you would agree also the handle is very skinny not to my liking...But overall a great bat for the price if it lasts me a year i will be more than happy :)
