Hi guys,
Just wondering if I should be considering one of the above options for a bat. I'm 6'2 so quite tall but usually use a SH just simply because that's what I've always done. Should I try a longer bat, or are they really the reserve of the Peter Crouches of the world?

i've got a long handled long blade bat if you're interested in buying...
-
Probably worth trying abc an lb, but you probably won't need both.
-
I'm 6ft4 and use standard sh I suppose it's worth trying but go with what is more comfertable
-
I'm just under 6"3 and I use a LB now as using a SH hurts my back
-
Only use one if you are needing one, long handle is not about height, it is about spread of hands, otherwise long blade is to give you a better stance if you feel you are in need of being straighter. I think I'm going to stand taller this year with my S/H and not try and assume the default stance.
-
it's the back pain that prompted the question if i'm honest!
-
Go longer blade, I've made up to 3 inches extra before.
-
actually i've just checked the bat and is just a longer blade - the handle length is standard short handle. let me know if you want pics/more info
-
get the pics up bud would be good to see

yeah, i'd love to see some pics please. i broke my bat in nets on wednesday so i'm definitely in the market for a new one. although i usually just borrow one of my mate's Newbery Mjolnirs as he has 3.

here are some pics of the bat - not after a huge amount for it - just got too many bats.
weight about 2lb 12oz but picks up more like 2lb 10oz.
