Just received my ice 850 pads and they are a bit stiff. I haven't had brand new pads for a while so have bought supple ones in the past.
I have a net tomorrow and then 2 games at the weekend, what is the beat way to loosen then up?
I currently have then done up tight as they can be done up
Thanks

I tied my Hawks up tight as possible and left them in the kit bag mate, also vaseline along the bottoms to stop the squeeking and soften the leather.
Stick them on and run up and down the garden maybe? Walk to the shops, do some lunges :)

sleep in them

This is whats puts me off buying new pads. I tend to buy a set and keep them for ages.

I've started to buy used pads. Cheaper and worn in for free.
Seems to be working. Plus with the rising material costs softs aren't cheap now :(

i just leave them wrapped tight around a bat. seems to make them more flexible. just need to have two spare bats, not an issue for most people on here :D
