Title: Talisroom **Pictures Added**
Post by: Perkins17 on April 30, 2011, 09:54:04 PM
Brought this beaut from Aaron (Roco) and it is an amazing piece of willow and craftsmanship of Mikes people.
Its was sold as 2.13 and it was 2,12 in my scales and what a blade, picks up like a dream with 41mm edges and 15 grains and very little to no concaving all i can say is that its a beast ! :D
I would like to thank Aaron for an amazing bat and deal and Mike for a very special bat
Played with it at training and played a forward defensive that went for six, not the best thing to do to the new player :P Played today and with it and got 29 was not a bad knock on some shots the bat was too good and almost got caught luckily they were poor to say the least

Will try to get some better pic's up in the morning but been in the pub for the past 4 hours so will try in the morning before work  :-[
Here is the for sale topic with pics

Mate, if your hitting a forward defensive for 6 might I suggest 'soft hands' next time?  :D Looks like a lovely bit of willow though.....

I have seen a check drive for six off a spinner granted the bloke was a kiwi pro with arms bigger than most peoples legs but was still impressive

Looks and sounds like a great bat but little to no concaving?.. Unless my eyes are failing me looks concave from toe to shoulder to me
