Was playing against someone using an Ayrtek yesterday and after he got to 50 he had to take his helmet off as he was sweating a lot.
I was thinking, could the airbags inside have a sort of sweat band/towel-ly stuff stuck to it to absorb sweat?

something we are already doing for the Pro's currently wearing them and will roll out for the rest of our customers shortly
-
Damn, I can't copyright it and then sell you the idea then ;)

Will that fit the old liner I have
-
yes they are stuck in via velcro that u can peel and stick in yourself

Now have these in stock if anyone feels they want any to soak up their hard earned sweat! £4 + P&P for the padding and velcro.

Hey Tom, how do you go with sales from OZ, are they starting to crack into the market over there?

"Those Ayrtek helmets are interesting but not very sought-after in AUS"
That's because not many people know about them over here. Should a cricket shop stock them, then they would deffinately be sought after. Only problem is that once you factor in shipping to the shop, then the shop adding it's cost to get a profit, the helmet would cost a bloody fortune. Much better and cheaper to buy direct from you guys. Which I plan on doing when I get the cash.

Things are have only just really strated taking off in the UK. most county clubs all have @ least 1 helmet i think.
i think the main aim is to crack the uk market 1st before they go global
-
Yeah thats true. Tossing up whether to fork out the cash and get one and take it back with me - be a trendsetter over there (or just an outlet for extreme sledging!)
-
You'd save on postage
-
We have sold a few to oz and Nz already but they would need to grasp how the product works and why it's shaped differently.
Within the next 6-12 months things may have changed ;)
