Post by: awesomeadil on May 03, 2011, 10:19:40 PM
Hi,

What kind of drills can I do at home to improve my batting! I was in the nets on monday. I was able to play shots but not able to middle it!

Cheers

Shadow batting in front of the mirror works wonders, have a look at your backlift and stuff make sure its coming down straight

Another thing I do which helps is line up some balls on middle, outside off and on the leg side and practise leading with your head as your body will follow

Just good excercises to tune the muscle memory

Hope the season goes well for you fella

Thanks

practice batting, using a stump and a tennis/golf ball - throw the ball against a wall and play your shots, it will help your timing no end.

The stump and golf ball don bradman technique is pretty hard.
