Morning all,
Kept this weekend for the first time this season, forgotten how painful 45 overs can be! Had the usual aches and pains which is nothing to shout home about, usually sorted with a hot bath and some stretching. I have been working my legs more at the gym recently so that helps.
However, getting in the car for the gym last night, I felt a sharp tweak in my left hamstring/thigh. I am not limping, and only feel the pain when I turn at a certain angle. I can squat and crouch with little discomfort. I have never had an injury of this type before, so I don't know if I have pulled it or just tweaked it slightly.
Can anyone give me any advice on what to do here? At work all day at my desk so can't ice it until I get home and have got a T20 tonight as well...
Cheers

POP to boots and get some cream for it...

I am going to get some Voltarol this morning, used up my last lot. More worried about pulling it and knocking my season out

while you are at your desk run a stress ball (or ideally a tennis ball) under your hamstring to loosen it - on your chair.

Just don't smile while doing it as your hands will be under the desk with you smiling ;)

Have just got some pain gel and whacked a load of that on. Have come to the conclusion that I don't think it's the hamstring and possible the glutes which is good. Considering I was able to run on the treadmill last night says it's probably not as bad as I thought
