Me and Bruce got every bat out the back room to look at but at least my pile was stacked neatly unlike Bruce

Just got back from Uzi Sports and I've just got to say what a top bloke Asad is, he's a really nice friendly chap with a very good knowledge of cricket gear.

I could've literally spent all day looking at the gear, I was like a little kid in a toy store! Some of the bats that were in the store were absolutely amazing and if I had of had some money on me I would've loved to have come away with about a dozen bats!

Luckily I didn't end up bankrupt and my will stayed strong and I just bought the gear I went in there to get. After spending an hour or so in the store looking around and talking to Asad about the gear I finally came out with 2 x pads and 2 x gloves with some pads and gloves on order.

I got the BAS Enigma pads, Newbery Test pads with the SS Matrix pads on order due to there not being any mens RH in stock. With the gloves I decided to go with the SS LE, GM 909 d30 and also some SS Matrix on order for the same reason.

This is only a quick review as I'm in a bit of a rush, so I'll put some more stuff about the shop and the gear when I have time.

Apologies for the picture, blame the sunshine!

PS, if you get the chance go and visit this store - you definately will not be disappointed with anything as everything in there looked superb!

The SS LE gloves are very nice. I bought 2 of them fromm Asad a while back and they are super soft and very comfy. I have always used split finger gloves but they are a very nice shape, so I don't need to bend my finger much.

I've got those BAS pads - bloody brilliant! I'd recommend them to anyone. After some BAS gloves from ASAD next.

The thing that puts me off pads is the design :/
