It would come with the Masuri logo on, otherwise how do they advertise their product? You'd have to do it yourself.

More to the point, why bother? Just for the fashion conscious obviously.

Looks better without the badge imo. But why cant you get them recovered anymore?

Post by: Arthur on January 04, 2009, 09:12:01 PM
You can, just not without the badge on the back, I think, unless that has changed since the end of the season.

Why would you want to take the masuri logo off the back anyway! It looks well good! i bet you would botch the kob and end up having to have get a new one!

Unless Masuri give pro's whose team have a contract with Albion (as Aus do), and yet want to use their helmets ones without the badge on?

True, becasue Michael Clarke, who also plays for Australia also has no badge on the back of his helmet.

it just looks so much better with out the logo on the back
Title: Re: masuri stitching and recovering
Post by: Outlaw on January 04, 2009, 10:37:12 PM
Arthur is correct, they are supplied to them without the logo in the first place, due to Albion being the official helmet supplier to the Australian team, they do not order a Masuri and sit at home picking the stitching out.

i did it on my bottle green one.
it doesn't look to bad.  the symbols really easy but the lettering is rather hard.
i made a bit of a mess with the lettering so just stuffed the holes with some bottle green thred.
hope this helps.

well, thats a couple of hours of your life you'll never see again, why the hell do people do this? Its the same with the pads and getting rid of the logos - lemmings!

I think it looks a whole lot better with the logo on tbh - I don't really see the point in removing it.

from a distance-

i don't think it looks that bad tbh.
it only looks bad from millimetres away and the only way someone will get up that close is if they're practically bumming me!
i understand everybody has they're own opinion and thats fine.

Title: Re: masuri stitching and recovering

spray painting fabric would not look good, and a black one in aus is a bad idea, black attracts heat

Well it protects me from the hard ball :) ..Dont have to pay £50 when i got it at a manufacture price. Like i said its a steel grill not Ti, hence the difference in price.

I use the big wooden thing for that, saves having to wear a lid all day.

So buying fakes is ok as they are cheaper, must be the method used by your parents to furnish you with a brain!!

You are a moron, thick as piggy dropping and will not understand this but fakes are illegal, crap, and steal money from real people trying to make a living.

My ability to type should not offend, if we were able to meet in the real world then I'd happily kick the **** out of you, but I'd have to book a few days off work as I get the feeling there is quite a bit to remove.

When people come on the forum and get offended when someone says its a fake, I find it extremely funny, Then to hear insults like " Gay Boy" i would expect that from a 10 year old,
Talisman is a guy who seems to know his stuff and often posts to try and help the individual, Not insult them. However on this instance, He might be trying to insult you

You people need to calm the hell down!

kp123; stop trying to spur them on! Leave this alone, how childish are you? You're promoting 2 adults, I presume, to fight over an argument about fake cricket equipment. Another thing, even if they were to fight, do you really think they'll need a referee? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the type of fight that needs officiating.

Talisman; I understand that as a retailer/future-brand-owner you feel strongly about fake's and their impact within the market but you should understand that he isn't condoning buying fake cricket equipment and, based on his first post, he wasn't aware that it was fake. I also believe that as an administrator you should have more restraint and express yourself in a friendlier way.

bighitting; calm down a little bit, don't react so badly. You don't need to insult him and and swear at him, there are kids on this forum and they shouldn't see posts like this.
