I had our web/media lad pop in the office and snap some proper pics of the bats we have in stock as thought it would be an easier method of showing whats on offer.
Each bat is numbered on the front for ease of identification, all weights are as per picture and include grip and stickers.
1st up we have a mid/low middles 2.8oz Bat #8
Oval Handle
11 grains
30mm edges
£208 inc Next day delivery
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/Elite28.jpg)
We realise we wont be as cheap as some brands on here but unlike most of them we have overheads to cover as well as VAT to take into account. We source the very best bats that we can find and would only do so as it ultimately represents our brand when people buy and use them.
-
That bat looks lovely.
Though I think I may prefer your bats with white grips.
-
Yer I agree with Matt. White grips
-
You went against the white writing and logo?
-
yeh they usually have white grips but put a black one on this one as the centre of the stickers were black...easy enough to swap over though if needed to a white grip as all our other bats come as standard with a white chevron :)
-
Really cant fault that look! Love it!
-
Have plenty more to come once iv kicked our graphics lad into sending me the rest of the pics :)
-
that's alot for a G2 unless you are grading on performace (I hope).
-
I think mine must be grade 2 on looks. Doesn't go badly mind you.
-
All our bats are graded on performance rather than looks as we wouldn't wanna sell a good looking plank as it may look great but wont help you out when in the middle.....

That seven is very nice!
-
Funnily enough a few people have said that, its 2.12 though so got some meat behind it so not for the lightweights amongst us!
-
I like the profile of the 6 actually
-
It reminds me of this http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=12683.msg203141;topicseen#msg203141
That weight should be illegal! 2lbs 10oz or under for me!
-
Played against someone on Sunday using one of these (Neil Pollard) - he was a genuine No 11 so didnt do it much justice I am afraid Tom!!! Looked nice though :D
-
Did u who was he playing for?
-
Tom what weight is number 10?
-
2.11 mate, forgot we had it as it was in the bag of samples that we gave to Globe to have a look at, only picked it back up the other day hence why its not been branded on the side as yet!
Big bat on the shoulders and all the way down as well
-
It was in the Chairmans Legend XI vs Bristol 1st XI (he was in the 1st XI team)..

Are globe going to be taking your gear then?
-
Were looking to go into the retail market as of next season as the new helmet range will open up this sector to us...fingers crossed they will stock the whole range :)
-
Good stuff, they could do with freshening up their range so your stuff would be perfect

It wouldn't be, probably add an extra 20.

Got my eye on this one as my current bat is starting to give up the ghost due to the toe now being split 3 ways....
-
Got some lovely bats at the moment!
-
just noticed I need to brand this one up on the side still....yeh some good uns!
hope they go as well as they look but as they are graded on performance rather than looks we should be ok :D
Maybe persuaded to a forum deal if people are after one ;)
-
What weight is that Tom?
The poor old scatek I take it it's still useable though as if you had this one you would have to knock it in
-
Haha yeh one draw back that will prevent me from retiring any bat iv got!
It's a 2.11 mate so would be 2.13 with ur grips on it ;)
-
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2285.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2282.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2287.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2283.jpg)
Nice little 2.7 still available #8 complete with hammer edge sheet.......the other is now with Liam :)
-
Number 8 reminds me of the Laver Legacy, just not quite so pronounced!
-
2.10's...........
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2290.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2291-1.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2292-1.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/CIMG2289.jpg)

-

-
These are right sex-sticks Tommo - you have done well my son!
-
Yeh some good uns comp is tough on the forum tho with so many decent bats flying about for less than trade prices!! :(
-
You know you want one Bruce they deserve a real batsmans touch
-
I still like the one with no number on it
-
Prob best to buy it then ;)
-
yeah the one with no number on it gets my vote, and maybe just maybe tom might be having some money sent his way for this bat very soon!! i've been so tempted for a while now
-
Think it's still on the shelf got to pack a couple for lords on Monday yet!!
-
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/49a91800.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/648ae3e8.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/6d62014d.jpg)

-
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-
Superb profile, how much for these Thomas?
-
Standard price as per usual michael...can't compete with u boys as VAT is a mother :(
-
Are they all in this shape?
-
That's our standard profile that we use so unless we get something in to try this is our stock shape....same as what u owned previously :)
-

Was a top bat that, can vouch for the quality of these bats boys
-
Fresh batch of bats turned up this morning....we do quality not quantity as you can see. Made for us in UK by a highly skilled bat-maker in the 2.9-10 weight range at a finished weight included a toe guard.
These all have oval handles and edges of 30-32mm....will let the pictures to the rest of the talking!

Exactly my thoughts.
Bat 2 looks ood also.

-
I am not surprised that one has been reserved so early, How much are your blades Tom?
-
Standard prices mate @ £239.99...worth every penny too ;)
-
Liking the new grips Thomas
-
He's done you Proud here mate
-
I agree with Mike they are nice grips,
Do you sell those? I'll take a guess that they are £239.99 with a bat thrown in?
-
They came with the bats as we have a very street wise bat maker who kindly pimped them out ;)
-
Fresh new innocent willow.....mmmmm!
Nice Tom. 8)
-
Yeah some nice light bats hat pick up very well, finished to a very high standard and all UK made ;)
-

love this profile and the sticker/grip combo - great looking sticks.
-
Just weighed one of the bats that comes in at 2.8.7 will amend the original post :) couple of others seem to have become a bit lighter as well which is prob the effect of them levelling out in the office environment!
-
Multi grainer now sold...
-
Snapped a few pics of the 2 bats we have left from the batch we received last week...

-

-
Look absolutely lovely sticks!
-
Yeah more than happy with them and at 2.9 with toe guard, grip and stickers very reasonable in terms of size:weight ratio

-
(http://www.drawinghowtodraw.com/stepbystepdrawinglessons/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/finished-bw-Stewie-Toy-Gun-color.png)
Giggles :), how much are these mate just curious?
-
£239.99 Prices as per website that included P&P and a free full length bat cover for Forum members :)
Feedback on these has been great from our customers
-
cool thanks..
-
I went to see Tom at his HQ on Monday to get new softs and a premier.
Whilst there I had a look at the various bats.
I was honest with Tom and said that from previous photos, all the old bat pics (in my personal opinion) had made the blades look small.
NOT THE CASE!
These are beauts, great pickup, top grains, decent edge size long middles and all at 2.9 finished!
-
Thanks mate...yeah prob my photo skills that arent great but all very well sized for the weights and go like a well made and pressed bat should :)
-
Happy with the review we received for the bats in the GGG, 3.5 * from the reviewers and 4* fro El Don!
Even better as it was the same bat that was submitted last year as has gone up the ranks ;)
-
cant moan about that considering you are a helmet company!!
-
Yeah the soft did pretty well too with te pads getting 4* and the gloves 3*
decent overall average across the range :)
-
gloves 3* jokers
-
yeah surprised me too as everyone who has tried the gloves on says they are impressive lol
-
My favourite gloves I've used were the Canterbury ones I had off of you, but they're the same design so couldn't really get better..
-
Yeah still got some left in the red colour scheme we did....think i might ditch the green next season though and go for something else.
-
Did seem a little weird how the logo and website colour scheme was different to softs and stickers.
You know what colour I would suggest ;)
-
haha i think we all know what colour you would suggest Joseph!
-
I do like orange ;)
-

Just goes to prove what rubbish it all ultimately is!
-
I think blue would look superb!
-

-
digging number 4 Tom, looks like a match for my last one
-
Yeah some beauties in there mate...had a lot of interest since The Cricketer review and flicking through AOC GGG today our bats are very sensibly priced compared to ones priced at £300+ from the other smaller brands!
-
number 8 plz
-
yes very happy with mine, although not used it in anger yet. Only thing i'm not so keen on are the very skinny shoulders, dunno why, but i'd like to see a bit more meat on them
-
Yeah #8 is a chunky little mother, 35mm edges so not too bad whilst still giving a decent profile
-
#4 looks really good.
-
9/10 grains, 30mm edges and 2.9...what more could you ask for ;)
-
...any reason number 3 is stamped the wrong way around?
-
yes....dont answer the phone and try to multitask whilst stamping bats ;)
-
Number 4 is perfect :D
-
...any reason number 3 is stamped the wrong way around?
I must say... You guys look bats too closely :)
-
#9
-
I like the look of these. Very very nice.
-
well all of them are up for sale and will include a full length bat cover and faceguard if desired :)
£239.99 delivered to your doorstep
-
Let me know when your doing a BOGOFF on these Tom :D
Love that number 4!
-
Number 4 and 5 are both pretty tasty mate...think #5 at 2.10 with 14 grains may attract some admiration
-
Number 4 and 5 are both pretty tasty mate...think #5 at 2.10 with 14 grains may attract some admiration
£240 for number 4&5 it is then hahahaha
Nice to see the mates rates discount ;)
-
Sadly quality comes at a cost and £239.99 each is that cost ;) .....I've a wedding to pay for don't forget!
-
Only messing with you mate! Good price for a quality bat.
-
I'm sure she will settle for a civil service and a weekend at Blackpool
-
I'd know her reply, same as my mrs..."don't you dare even think about it!!!" lol
-
I fear there would be no service at all if I put forward that suggestion!
Back on the bat front may have a couple of others turning up tomorrow too in the lighter weights as well :)
-
Little teaser.....

Hubba Hubba!
...you should probably have started an 'Elite Bats 2012' thread by now though :D
-
Much prefer the second bat
-
Good job as the 1st bat isn't for sale ;)
-
JT seems to want it ;)
-
Good point Johnny will get that sorted once I'm bright eyed and freshly up with a sore head tomorrow :)
Haha he's got a good eye old JT

what's the weight on the leftmost one?
-
It's not one for the lightweights I'm afraid as it's 2.12 in the buff...so 2.13 is when finished
-
It's not one for the lightweights I'm afraid as it's 2.12 in the buff...so 2.13 is when finished
mmm lots of grains...too heavy though.
-
What weight are u after?
-
I was hoping it would be around 2.10
-
Well we have a couple of cracking 2.10 in stock that are the same profile and have some rather tasty grains :) bats #4 and #5 in particular
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0151.jpg)
-
Might be a spare LB blade up for sale too shortly once iv sorted out the customer with his if anyone uses that spec ???
-
Might be a spare LB blade up for sale too shortly once iv sorted out the customer with his if anyone uses that spec ???
You'll have to provide more details...
-
They will be 2.9/10 finished as had a specific order in for a LB from an ex somerset pro who is kitting himself out.
Oval handle on both as per his spec both pictured on the right of the earlier pic I put up of them currently blank :)
-
Quick update #6 has found itself a new home....have got these two new specimens new in though!
(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0160.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0161.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0163.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0164.jpg)(http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/qq167/tom_ayrtek/DSCN0165.jpg)
Multi grainer is a real mans bat weighing in at 2.13, The one with the strip of heartwood is 2.10 both have the usual 30mm+ edges and should go like a child after eating a whole pack of tangfantastic!
-
is that 2'13 double gripped Tom, could work! am still surprised the one you sent me was only 2'95
-
sherpa lad u got an ayrtek now too lol
-

-
these bats look quality. also a big fan of your branding/stickers.
-
Thanks mate, yeh really happy with all the bats we've had in this season so far. So much so I had a few messages on twitter and two went out to a couple of pros last week and feedback from them is very good too :)
They weren't supplied with anything different to our stock bats as they are good enough to be used on the pro circuit as we had a couple out there last season all be in without our banding on them :(

A man of few words...
-
Ill let the pictures do the talking ;)
If anyone wants to know any specifics about a certain bat drop me a line and ill sort them out :)
-
Tom, you got any 2.8/9's kicking around?
-
Yes mate in reply to your PM and the above.....
#1 = 2.7
#2 = 2.8
#3 = 2.8
#4 = 2.9
#5 = 2.10
-
whats the damage for one of these then? I quite fancy one of these! :)
-
£239.99 inc P&P, full length bat cover and face guard should you want one :)
As its sunny though maybe able to offer a free pair of Premier Gloves too with a bat purchase
-
as I have already got elite softs and lid from you, could you apply the bundle discount to the bat? (being really cheeky there i know)
-
Touché.....Good point well made!
In that case I am happy to offer it to you at the bundle price :)
-
That black stickered one is very H4L Excel in shape
-
After a few PM's requesting pics of the faces of bats #4 and #5 here they are....

-
Bats one and three are now en route to their new home as well as one of the unnumbered new additions :)
-
Bats #4 and #7 departed Ayrtek HQ today...one to one of cordys lads at his club who had the Elite bundle and the other to a Glos player who got a pre-season match vs Worcester tomorrow (40 over game at new rd if anyone is local).
-
Which one did our guy take mate?
-
#7 mate so he got a very nice stick....nearly had to bat with a grip pump stuck on the handle tho lol bloody thing got stuck putting a 2nd grip on for him!!!!
Gave him a bat mallet to knock it in with that I told him to pass back to you once he's finished if thats ok mate
-
Used one of these at nets the other night (Batoff bat that hadn't gone in the post yet) - holy schmoley!! it went very well. Personally can't afford to spend £240 on a bat, but if I could, I wouldn't be disappointed with one of these!
-
Can you say which Glos player? :)
-
Yes David Wade the lad we sponsor
-
Wasn't he the one that they signed from the Army or something? I could be thinking of a different guy, so bare with me :)

Well that will teach you to give such good customer service all the time! Told you he was nothing but trouble! Yea no worries, I can drop that back for you :)
-
Yeah slightly embarrassing as got it good and properly stuck on so took a good 5 mins to free it up!
All good tho and hopefully he left as a happy customer with his bat, pads and gloves under his arm :)
-
I spoke to him and he said the gloves were amazing and he couldn't wait to use the bat so safe to assume he was a happy man :) becoming quite an Ayrtek club now what with a couple of prize winners from the indoor too
-
Yeh got presentation night next Thursday for this seasons league so got to sort a few other bits out too....good job u said as I'd forgotten!!!
-
Getting club mates to buy bundles, reminding you of things to do, providing snacks and returning mallets... you'll need to get me on the payroll soon mate ;)
-
Haha you can get involved with my cycle to work scheme then :) Much safer than an exploring car haha
-
Cycling to work?!? I've been to Darlington, Pontefract, Manchester, Bradford, Belfast, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Chester, Penzance and the Channel Islands with work this year so I think I'll just have to stick to the exploding car!
-
Couple of 2.7/8's (dependant upon grip)

Those bats are right snodgers!
Any idea as to edge size?
-
Both come in at a very respectable 34mm :)
currently both weigh 2.8.4 with toe guard, self-heal anti-scuff and spiral grip...they would come down to 2.7 with a single chevron on them ;)
Both are £239.99 inc next day P&P and a full length bat cover, will also include a free pair of Premier gloves as im feeling generous :)
-
Few new bits of willow came in yesterday, 2 have already been sold but 3 very nice bats left still. All have the same profile with a low middle and minimal concaving in the ST shape.

-

Me too! Shocked it hasn't been at that weight and that size!
Too light for me but a Colt moving up from Harow size could do wonders with that beast!

That looks more like a 2'12+ so I'll be shocked if this still doesn't sell very soon!
-
Last picture makes it look almost like a scoop!
-

-
lots of PM's about the 2.6 bat but no buyer as yet.....
Also got a lovely couple of 2.9's and a 2.8 on the shelf that need a new home :)

I've always wondered why a bat that is that big isnt made to say 2.9 and be a serious monster.
Anyone kind enough to enlighten me? :)
-
low density willow, as a natural product you will always get one that comes out lighter than others even when made to the same profile/dimensions as others which would come in at 2.9/10 etc.
-
Thank you for the enlightenment mate,
Some beautiful bats on this thread to.
