Is it just me, or do they look the same.
Harlequin - Original
S6 - Solution
Amplus - Distinction
Take a look for yourselves.
-
Amplus is an oversized harlequin
-
I would quite like an M&H again - wouldn't know what to get though
-
There's no profile I like. The middles are either too high or too low for me.
-
Agreed, nothing in between is there really
I don't even need a bloody bat, I have 2 amazing ones that I can't use at the moment
-
Distinction/retro for front footers and harlequin/amplus if you play on hard bouncy tracks or like the back foot....
I've had both and were both guns
-
They changed the distinction this year because they had some with toe damage last year. A shame really as it was the most...apologies...distinctive shape on the market, but now it just looks like any other.
-
Harlequin does not have high middle as the picture suggest, sweetspot I would say is in middle hence, you can play front foot shots and back foot shots nicely.
-
The new distinction, is that similar to the retro or was that the old one?
-
The old distinction was very much like the old hunts reflex, a deep middle with an extreme cut away to the toe, hence the weak point I expect. The new one isn't a million miles from the amplus etc.
-
Ah ok I liked the old one. I had a retro which was the most powerful bat I've used, pick up was a tad heavy tho
-
I have an original and I must say if you hit it with the bottom 2-4 inches of the bat it just dies. but it is very suited to a back foot punch through cover :D
-
Yea my original is very much suited to back foot play but I can still toe a cover drive to the boundary with it... As long as the boundary isn't too big!
