Title: Good length on or just outside off stump
Post by: barbs106 on June 02, 2011, 11:13:04 AM
I keep nicking em on and just outside off stump, does anyone know a good way to counter this ball?

Get in line. Read the thread on concentrating on the ball.

Make sure your head is in the correct spot and you are playing the ball directly in front of the eyes.

hello.
realistically there could be about a million reasons why you keep knicking off.
it could be because you are standing wrong, holding the bat wrong, poor shot selection, going after balls you should leave... I could go on and on.

there are loads of good coaches on this forum, give them a bit of chance to help you by going into more detail about your set up, the kind of delivery you struggle with etc.

failing that buy a joker, they are narrower than a normal bat so you won't hit so. many.
