I've no broadband at home, it played up last Monday and failed completely Thursday night, after 5 whole hours spread over 11 in the house yesterday and 1 further hour today they think there may be a problem and will send out an engineer tomorrow. I hate the company with a passion and so can only apologise for any missed messages, I'll try and reply to all tomorrow.

Try someone else i would say
We had them round recently and they where here 4 days in a row digging up the road and putting in a new cable which has made no difference!
-
Is it just your broadband that is down or the entire phone line?

Me too, they were brilliant when I set up my broadband lol.

I hope you are not at the end of a line Mike? as in furthest from the exchange or things will not get any better at all!!!!! We had an office once like this, in the end the boss moved offices to the other side of town!!!!! So he could get a proper internet connection!!!!
-
They're useless. We having problems with our phone line at work, they send an engineer out (eventually), and he screws the whole connection up so we have no broadband for 2 days..... A bit of an issue when 99% of our work is done over the phone and internet!!
-
We work off WiFi here and works well 95% of the time but can be a nightmare when off as (like Ian) 90%+ of our business is conducted via the internet.
-
Who ever I go with I will always get pointless internet speeds, where I live I got something like 0.2mbps with a maximum of 2.1 mbps, the people who live 100m up road get 17mbps
-
I'll shut up then. My regular 19.6Mbps and no outages in the last 24 months will annoy people.
It's with LLU provider Sky Broadband and is surprisingly good, given that it's Sky.
