The grains don't look too good imo (lots but uneven) and the willow I'd guess would be quite a low grade. But I bet you're now going to tell me who it belonged to or show a profile pic of a massive bat.

Gumpert is big, very big, very very big. It weighs???

Forgot to add that Gumpert has 40mm edges and is made in the UK, air dried willow too.
GT Bomber has 39mm edges, made in UK, air dried willow and weighs in at 2.11 with a single grip under the spiral.
Mjolnir Storm is a custom made to an upcoming shape, made in UK, air dried at 2.10.
Redback Monster is a mere 2.12, made in Devon which has applied to join UK, air dried.
Laver Firefly, Stunning bat, custom made to specs completely different to mine, 2.14, made in New Zealand.

What shape is the Storm? From the profile pic it seems like a standard Mjolnir profile?

It actually is not a Newbery. It is similar but with a few subtle differences.

How dare you! Devon is the UK without it counterblancing the UK at the toe the UK would drift off.

In the immortal words of Bruce Springsteen

"She ain't a beauty but hell she's alright"

You do know its sinking, at the rate of an inch a year or something like that. I blame the horders of nice clefts living near the sea.

thanks for the heads up I will put a marker in the red cliffs next time I'm down there and keep an eye on it.

"Save Devon from the Sea and Save the UK from France"

Luckily those clefts are almost at the top of the hill!!!

It is the clefts that are propelling the loss of our coastal towns, I live high on a hill so will clear a spot in my workshop to keep them dry.

Norb, should I post Gumpert as a 2.7 of the other side to annoy James?

Damn Gary and his hoard of nice clefts, your right but best he split them up between you and me for balance reasons.

Post it with some techie babble he likes that stuff....  I actually think he is an ok guy and has amused me immensely over the weekend.

I've done it, don't tell him and we'll split the clefts evenly, 60/40 between me and you.
