Title: Trots small net bat???

Anyone else see this on Sky during the first session, Trott with a small [plain] bat, never seen anyone using a small (short) bat before.

id of thought it was to help him get forward and over the ball.. but looks like a catching bat to me

this was mushie's idea, to help the batters get right over the ball and kill the spin.

Better remove the pictures quick before Lekka claim the bat is one of theirs ;)

Sounds a good idea if I'm honest, will put this on the list of things I must try in the nets (Along with using a cut down bat and a much heavier bat)

There was an interview with Ian bell the other day on sky sports news and he had a small adidas bat he was saying it improves his middling and that improves his accuracy so he aint catching it on the sided and going to slip was hire good am guessing trotty has the same too trott was also on interview and said bell could hit it with a stump lol

bell has a middling bat i think, same sh length but thinner, trott has a shorter one here...
