Tresco and Strauss opening for England was class, shame Trescothicks depression got in the way of what could have been an amazing partnership

Would be silly for him to get injured in it, with so much of the season to come and seeing as though he seems to be our only in form batsman at the moment.

I reckon they'll rest him too. I remember going to watch Somerset vs. South Africa 3 years ago, looking forward to seeing Trescothick and Langer vs. Smith and Kallis, only for them all to be rested (apart from Kallis...)

Still, he's not too bad a replacement and they're still the (in theory) most devastating batting line up in the country without him.

It's there new power bow I think plus he did well today scoring quickly compared to others at least
