First bat I ever had was an SP - that would be in about 1978 or thereabouts.  Cant remember what model but i do remember that bit of a flattening on the back.  Was this something common to all SP's?

The Master was the flat back model, other models were the Supreme and the Caravelle, and were more traditionally shaped

You can't upload pictures to the forum.  Needs to be on a site like photobucket and linked.

First gloves I ever owned were SP in about the same time period. White Mittens with blue SP sign. Those were a precious love in that time.

Yip a pair of those mittens came up for sale on EBay Australia a couple of months ago (bundled with some other gear), but it all went for quite a high price as I recall. I remember them being very cool and desirable in the late 70's early 80's  :)
