Title: My H4L 5* Excell :)
Post by: robingjc on June 27, 2011, 01:45:04 PM: Bat just arrived this morning and i am over the moon with what have got :

- 2.8 stickered and gripped
- 8 straight grains
- mid-low sweetspot
- 27mm edges and aprox 52/53 mm spine
- cm shorter blade
- and knocked , oiled and tapered edges.

matt also asked if was the order who had asked for hattori stickers, i wasnt but i said hattori ones would be grand.

feels great with the old ball i have. i may go to the nets later and give it a whirl against some spin, if not il do it in training tomorrow and tell you
how she preforms

Post by: robingjc on July 13, 2011, 06:16:01 PM: iv netted once with it and goes like a rocket :D the only thing is grass was abit damp and i think i got a bit of water damage but i sanded it and put a toe guard on. so its a sound investment for me yah

Post by: langer17 on July 16, 2011, 01:47:29 PM: This bat isn't mine, I got a 666 5* a few weeks ago, still knocking it in for my up coming season, but from taping it up and hitting a few in te back yard, it is very good. You can get all 3 of his models made how you want it.

Never a nice moment, but it should have no effect on the performance or longevity of the bat.

Post by: jimba101 on August 07, 2011, 05:30:40 PM: I did similar when knocking my h4l in. Dropped it and it took a chunk out of the back right at the toe. Hasn't caused any cracking though :)

Any pictures? I would go mad if anyone dropped my new bat like that.

Ayrtek lids are very strong. Last week I flung mine from halfway between the pitch and the boundary all the way over the boundary cause I was annoyed with the umpires and two quicks had come on so I didnt need the helmet. I was amazed it was still in one piece
