Title: Millichamp and Hall Refurb/Repair
Post by: ianbuchanan on June 30, 2011, 12:33:34 PM
Dropped my Distinction off to be serviced (Sanded down, re-label, scuff-sheet, new grip, and toe repaired) at M&H yesterday morning. Got a phone call this morning (Less than 24hours later!) saying it was ready for collection.

I think the service time is incredible, all for £25. I will post pics later on when I get it back.....

I know one guy on pakpassion who got his refurb from M&H and Nick and co did a fantastic job and made the bat look new!

Yeah I've had a few done there in the past, but the turnaround has never been this quick. They usually take well over a week!

Got it back, very impressed! Naturally sanding the bat down all over shaved around an ounce off the weight, but it looks brilliant. It didn't come with a scuff sheet but i can pick one up for £4 tomorrow... Pics below:

They did a Solution for me recently. Despite using them for 10 years I was still surprised at how good it turned out. Quick as well - left me on Monday, back on Fri.

The damage to the toe looks worse than it is to be honest... And its from several yorkers lol, and maybe too many games/nets this year! Really chuffed though :)

I still look at this bat in amazement! It was one of the biggest bats I've ever seen and felt when I met up with Ian! :o

Really keen to send my Solution back for a full refurb within the next 2/3 weeks.

With the pictures can you let us know what the turn around time is and the cost of the work.

Cheers

Completely forgot about this boys! Got her back after a week, cost me £35 for a full repair/sand/re-sticker and re-grip. Unfortunately he's had to tape the whole face of the bat because of the damage, but still looks ok. Will post pics soon!
