get a new bat lol
-
2nded!
-
I'd say that is screwed unfortunately.
-
Unfortunately there is not much that can be done but too early to write a obituary for this bat.
I suggest you stick this with waterproof PVA and press it overnight under something heavy. Once it sticks use the 1" or 2" bat repair tape. Keep this bat for the nets.
-
depends how much the bat means to you? i would botch a repair and just use it until it completely dies. but if you really wanted to keep it a bat maker maybe be able to carry out a decent repair.
-
i had the same problem on my old bat it had come off i glued it bk on and put a cover on and some tape lasted me a few months n then came off again id say its not worth the hassle just buy a new bat
-
sorry i ment to post this not two of the same

Repairable, just send it to Warsop or Newbery, I'd forget Redback as he will be suffering withdrawal symptoms for the next week...

really? is there much point the bat was not the greatest for the money it cost
-
Depends how much you liked the bat, doubt the repair will be cheap so you may as well put it towards a new bat. You said the bat wasn't the greatest anyway....
-
if you like the bat send it off to warsop, The exact thing happned to my favourite last season at the start. Sent it off took it down to warsop for 20 quid. and it's still going strong

I'm just going to get a new one tomorrow when i go to serious cricket. me and my dad think there was a something wrong with the wood anyway
-
What one you thinking of getting then mate?
-
Any idea what your gunna get mate?
-
probs a newbury or something not sure atm. which one feels the best
-
just an update about this bat
i got it sent of to slazenger and after a fair while:( they have told me they will refund all of the money i spent (£150) on the bat:D:D because they had found that it was a dead bit of wood or something. and that means my new bat only cost me £10
