Title: Two Black Beauties
Post by: mad_abt_cricket on July 15, 2011, 03:52:58 PM: Received the much anticipated pro bats last week ( they attracted a bit of debate due to their price tag).
I won't go into much details and let the pictures talk ( one Black beauty is making an appearance in this forum for the first time :) )...

Regarding "Midnight" she is female, 4 months old and has excellent temperament ..

Unfortunately none of these two are for sale :)

It looks lovely mate. When you think that a top end M&H is £300+ then this isn't that extortionate at all. I take it that was 620 for the both, not one? Don't take this the wrong way mate, but does it feel like a £310 bat?

A great looking Lab, ive had 3 and they are the ultimate family dog apart from the fact mine cant keep her nose out of my box

I didn't find the size extraordinary but never saw a bat with such a long middle which starts from extremely low till right up to the sticker. The rebound is excellent with the old ball. So far I didn't felt the ball thudding into the bat or a shock at the handle which is the case with the new bats while they are still in knocking process. I am optimistic that with good care this bat will survive two seasons and will be a good ROI.
