I have to say this is an area of equipment overlooked!!!! I had a match Friday night and shock horror left my strippers at home with my box shorts, so i rushed up to the local cricket shop and bought a heavily discounted set of Bradbury inner and outer Players thigh pads from Devon County sports in Paignton. The pads were incredibly comfortable and i felt very protected in them and they were incredibly comfy and light to run in and i was very impressed by the quality in the Bradbury equipment. I normally use strippers and would definitely recommend the Bradbury inner and outer thigh pads to anyone thinking of buying any thigh protection. On a sour note rumor has it Chase are dragging their feet over repairs to Bradbury bats big time.!!!! Apparently some people are waiting months for bats to be repaired not looking good on the customer service department side of things as far as bat repairs are going!!!!

the straps on my thigh pads always drag down after a sigle or two...soo annoying

i like the look of the gray nicolls players thigh pad set, looks a good alternative to the strippers (cheaper too)

They are very bulky and stick out a long way

Having tried in vain to find some thigh pads that work for me, I've this season abandoned them completely. Feel much freer batting without. Does mean you get the occasional badge of honour though!!

good work, the bradbury thigh pads are really good...
if you get thigh pads that fit then they can be more comfortable and less bulky than the strippers.
I've been a convert for 2 seasons
