No English, ouch.

Kapil Dave and Ambrose in an all-time 11 are an absolute joke. Sunil Gavaskar, Sehwag and Lara do not cut it as well. It seems more like an Indian fans 11 to be honest.
-
Pretty poor team really to leave out lilley botham Hutton Marshall Richards and the greatest all round cricketer ever in sobers

My impression is that it was heavily influenced by sub continental voting.

I thought the same thing. 4 Aussies is good, but I didn't even know there was a poll, so I didn't vote and I'm sure many people in the UK didn't know either, hence no English players in the team.

Let's vote for our own then.

Indian to be precise.

The full ICC Test Dream XI:
Virender Sehwag (India)
Sunil Gavaskar (India)
Donald Bradman (Australia)
Sachin Tendulkar (India)
Brian Lara (West Indies)
Kapil Dev (India)
Adam Gilchrist (Australia)
Shane Warne (Australia)
Wasim Akram (Pakistan)
Curtly Ambrose (West Indies)
Glenn McGrath (Australia)
What a fix!
Virender Sehwag (India) - Played in a era of flat decks, if he played in the 80's or early 90's against decent fast bowling on helpful wickets he wouldnt even be considered.
Kapil Dev (India) - lol!, somebody just got the stats book out. Fine player but no Malcolm Marshall?
Glenn McGrath (Australia) - not the worst pick, certainly a great. However, bit harsh on Hadlee & Holding.
Surprised they didn't pick most of the present indian team tbh lol!
-
They should have had a second XI so they could have included the likes of Sobers, Hutton, WG Grace, Hadlee, Viv Richards, Greenidge etc.

Oh, and surely Jacques Kallis and Botham merit a place.
