Title: Kids, always wear a lid!!

No the Xrays came back all clear, & I could see out of it when the Doctor prised my eyelid open. Hopefully just a case of the swelling going down.

A team mate of mine who was playing for the 2nds on sat top edged a pull into his nose. to make things worse it then looped up to square leg who took a simple catch. ive never laughed so much in my life when i was told he was walking off, blood pooring from his nose after being given out without even a " you alright mate" from the oppo, just alot of high fives and cheering lol. Would love to have seen the look on his face

Post by: PedalsMcgrew on July 25, 2011, 02:28:45 PM: Had never worn a helmet up until the start of this season but felt I should as I've got away without being hit for so long I was bound to get one sooner or later. Sure enough 3 games in I top edge a waist high full toss straight into my mush. Luckily I was wearing my lid and I got away with it. Without the lid I would look like you....only more handsome....and less hairy... :D
