...your cricket balls of course.
I play northants prem, we use 25 quid dukes, not sure of the model, very good thoguh. Used hunts before, utter (No Swearing Please), still about 20 quid i think.
What balls are you using, price, playing standard, how good are they?
-
Durham Senior League, Readers Sovreign - unadulterated rubbish. Shine lasts 6-8 overs max, go misshapen very quickly, seam is not very pronounced.
Will be pestering the club to change to the Dukes alternative next season - both balls are about £22-25 quid.
-
we use hunts and they are utter crap, cost about £22 a ball, shine lasts 10 overs, get ruined very easily

League: ECB Northern Premier League
Cost: £20-25
Make: Readers
Info: Seam stays rigid for about 15 overs. After that it's time to fill your boots. Only seen a handful of bowlers make them swing this season!

Palace Shield use the same ball.
Tom, were you playing NPCL when we had to use Surridge balls? They were shocking - much worse than the Readers (which not many people have good things to say about anyway)
Used Oxbridge balls in the Yorkshire League, which I think are the best I've used, though many people complained they were too hard and lead to many broken bats.

Used to use Readers Gold A in my old league, £10, held together well. Swung too. Good seam. Now using Readers County, £15 a piece, and garbage. loses lacquer after about 3 balls, rips apart. Use the Oxbridge Tiflex Hamptons, £14 on Sundays, and amazing!
-
We use spherical red ones that weigh about 5.5 oz, swing all innings if well looked after and hold together quite nicely. They're globe sports I think, price not sure.
-
League: 2 counties or hunts county sunday league
Ball: Red hunts one
Cost- 20-25 quid
Info: dont find them to bad if looked after well enough
-
Sussex County League
Gray nicolls test one. its actually really good. bout £25 a pop but shine can last almost throughout. can get some big swing on it too!
-
We've been using Crown and they swing a mile. Not sure about pricing though. Tend to last about 25overs before it's help yourself time
