Well my season looks well and truly over as i have ruptured a quad above my knee in my left leg, i have an MRI scan next Friday to asses the damage and should find out if i need surgery. I'm on crutches at the minute and ive never ever seen swelling like this before and ive played for 25 years, has anyone done this before and whats the recovery time likely to be but i'm a slow healer and to say i'm devastated is an understatement.

Unlucky Rich - hope the damage isn't too bad and you make a full recovery.
How did you do it?
-
Did it on saturday during the game but i had finished my 13 overs so wasn't bowling, my brother had just taking a wicket and the new batsmen reached the middle and as i walked back to my position something went which is hard to believe but thats what happened and no one at the hospital could believe it.

Hope you get better mate

Nope thats not going to happen as i will still be at every game, although we are off to the south of France early August unless i need an op so possibly a little more time with her.
