before every tells me to hit the search button before posting,i already have!
but couldn't find a well constructed answer from a batmaker himself.and im fully aware of the illegal side to it.
So here i have a few questions for you..
1. Do laminates last as long as normal bats?
2. Is there a huge difference in performance compared to normal bats?
3. How exactly does laminates work?
-
1. Yes
2. Up for debate, but genrally yes or why bother doing it.... :-)
3. there are diffrent ways of doing it, but most lamies will be 2 diffrent bits of wood glued togther, the diffrent gains and the gluing process increases the stiffness. Diffrent quaility woods and pressing etc can be done depending on what the maker wants to do.
Instrested to hear what others think - I never actually made one.

So are your answers guesses or do you have experience of using them?
