Title: overseas luggage
Post by: imogzyboy on August 03, 2011, 09:49:26 AM
hi all i leave to go australia in just over 2 weeks! i measured my bag last night and discovered its too big it would cost an extra 200 quid!! i was just wondering what other people have done when they have played overseas?
would it be better to buy new equipment there?
thanks

I'm an Aussie and all the equipment over here is a fair bit more expensive than over there, so not sure.

i used a old red woodworm bag back in 2006. wasnt an issue. there are plenty of smaller bags around. sure someone on here would be able to help. i wasnt aware there were any size restrictions in place apart from hand luggage, thought it was just weight?

go on the owzat website, plenty to choose from on there. gives you dimensions even if you dont buy from them.  not sure if there are any bags on here atm to keep costs down. gotta be careful with the type of bag you get. some wheelies already weight a fair bit. reduces your allocation a fair bit already

if you buy new gear when you are over there, you will still have to bring it all back! ever thought about a coffin?
