Interested in a new pair of cricket trousers.
Had a nice paid of Kookaburra stay cool before, any recommendations for light breathable trousers.
As a batsman any suggestions appreciated, saw a pair of CCC batting trousers any one used them.
-
I just bought 2 pairs of North Gear trousers which are very good
-
saw those too are they really light & breathable
-
light yes, and they're advertised as breathable. I'd have to bat for long enough to find out :( I have a discount code for them at the moment
-
Where are the North Gear from - I need a pair too?
-
I have north gear ones. Bought them off ebay. Seem decent enough
-
www.cricket-deals.webs.com to get the discount code and follow the link from there to buy them
-
Jimba do you think there are better trousers
-
the canterbury ones look mint, but my short arms and deep pockets have meant i've never been able to buy them
-
At the moment I have some cheap slazenger trousers from sports direct, seemed to get friction burns every week from sliding with them until I started to wear some knee supports underneath (didn't fancy shelling out loads for skins or something like that).
Never had this problem before so maybe the slazengers are asbestos lined or just too cheap.
If the north gear ones are good I'll have to get a pair to replace mine.
Thanks for the discount code johnny.
-
They are the best I have tried. Although I usually only have cheap ones.
There light as johnny said, haven't ripped and have washed well so can't really complain
-
I used to wear Slazenger ones from Sports Direct they were a bit harsh on the knees when fielding. Now using Adidas Cricket trousers Clima cool, really happy with them. Not sure what material they are made out of, but they are really smooth, comfortable, light and cool.
-
If you are willing to pay for them, the nike gameday trousers are the absolute nuts, very very light and have the dri fit design. Also they are good for sliding so they won't take the skin off of your knees when trying to stop the ball.
-
I think the Nike ones are worth the money, plus they aren't covered in nasty branding so they look better too...

Job done £27.50 posted from morrant(with code) cheers for input guys

Anyone got a link to the CCC batting trousers? Not sure if iv seen them before or not!
-

-
Iv got the fielding ones which are referred to as "disco whites" and wondered if they are the same ones!

One of the oppo last week had some of those fielding trousers on and he had a shiny (No Swearing Please)! which must be the in built "sliding" panels.

I seem to recall seeing the Swoosh in two places on the gameday trousers, so really they're covered in just as much if not more of that nasty branding.

mine have a small navy swoosh and no other branding, other trousers have branding on the leg as well as much bigger branding where the swoosh is.
am pretty surprised anyone would challenge this.
-
I don't like branding. So I wear nike.
Classic

I think the Nike trousers are low on branding. A small Nike tick on the hip and nothing else. A lot better than say the Canterbury ones for example.

Let me try and make it clearer.

Ah... forget it.
-
i love my garish North Gear trousers. Team colours rule!
-
We have had those before. Decent quality. We has the Surridge Sports ones and they seem massive, really low crotch on them.

I get your point and am slightly amused by your inference, but the point is, there isn't god awful text down the trousers leg, or a massive obtrusive logo, neither are things I appreciate.
you can take or leave your feelings on what the nike brand represents, which can be good, but more frequently filthy and if you don't like it, I understand.
theirs are very good cricket trousers though, which is I am most interested in.

West Indian export quality perhaps?
