Title: Wrip at bottom of cricket trousers?

does everybody know what I am talking about. All england test players have pants wripped at bottom. Does anybody know what this is for?

Probably to enure the trousers are not too tight around the ankle

He means the ones that strippers wear so they can just rip them off during a routine! Not cricket trousers!

When I said cut off, I mean a certain point (which I was suggesting was the knee) where the poppers go no higher.
