Has anyone been into a Sports Direct and actually seen any of there top of the range bats for sale?
-
not recently, but have done in the past. i think there may be knocking about close season when all the retailers try and get rid of all their old stock (SD will buy it all at a reduced cost in bulk)
-
I've only ever seen cheap bats in there
-
Ive had a slazenger sxi ultimate from there. that was decent. but that was a few years ago
-
I went in to my local Sports Direct on Friday and there were no bats at all !!! The rack was there but was empty
-
The shops I've been in only sell the cheap bats, but the shops look like a tip.
-
they had that thing last year when they were selling off gm apex originals at £100
-
I went yesterday. You have to ask to see them, as they keep them in their storeroom, as they claim many people steal them. They had some nice gn in the region of £120
-
Is that the same case for every store? Which one did u visit?
-
i went to my local superstore in hayes, london
-
it wont be the case for every store... not the case for either cribbs or broadmead, they only keep the top nike vapors in the office.
In areas considered to be higher in thefty rates they may well store them away...
p.s. the bristol ones are always filled with crap bats, never anything good!
-
Hahaa Hayes is defo a high theft area!
-
They had a few nice Gray Nics at Cabot Circus... Although the was an Carbo Evo that wasnt a carbo... Had a little carbon thing stuck onto the handle... :S
-
Yeah Gray Nicolls seems to be the best bats at Sports Direct in Bristol. Going to Cabot soon so will have a browse at the stuff in there, maybe nick a deal on gloves.
-
went to kingston today. They had quite a few decent gn's and slazengers
-
the SD website is doing a 4*gn oblivion for £90 - bit of a gamble though...
-
Some cheap gloves on their website.
-
Went to my local SD today.
Loads of decent-ish Gray Nics
Evo Players for £137
Evo Carbo for £110
Nitro 5* for £92
They had quite a few long handles, presumably excess stock
