Next you will steal Paul Stirling and then poor olde Dockrell...the list goes on

...Boyd Rankin just been picked for the Lions.
does Lions selection now make him ineligible for Ireland?

Nope, Morgan was playing for the lions and Ireland at the same time. But knowing England they will give him one ODI and then drop him

I also think Paul stirling can't be far away from selectors thoughts...

Even if they do that, the ruling states that a player can switch between teams as appropriate and with the agreement of the two boards. Essentially, Morgan can play for Ireland still if he wants to and the ECB agree to it. Ireland needs to have a first class cricket circuit in place though before it qualifies for Test cricket, ergo you won't get many switching back if they believe they are good enough. At least not until some steps are taken to move cricket in Ireland forward. I for one hope they do.

The selectors do seem to like foreign born players who qualify for England. Though I suppose you can't blame the player for making themselves available to play for England, it is a career after all where they will make substantially more money playing for England than Ireland - if they do well of course. I'd rather see everyone play for the country they were born in, but I guess it's part of sport worldwide now where players switch allegiance.
