I am wondering if it is possible to sand down the bat to get a couple of ounces down.If it is possible,Do I sand down all around or just the face?Cheers

I will take a while, but you can do it. you should take the weight off the back of the bat, trying to keep it in the same shape as it us currently. leave the front of the bat alone.
I am sure some of the bat makers can give better guidance.

You will have red raw hands if you wanted to loose 2 ounces by hand sanding .

Would taking 2 ounces off reduce performance?
-
I guess I am better off sticking to professional weight reduction service. Its a precision SAF erus, don't want to reduce its performance.

Speak to Andy and ask him to do it - the best way in this case, in my view.

I once sanded half an ounce down and my hands hurt big time. Obviously it was done with a sand paper so it was a real pain. Might be a good idea to take it to a pro.

Get your power belt sander on it and make a huge mess of the bat... It will never be the same again!

Detail sanding and a bit of tlc works fine. Shaved an uneven edge down nicely last night.
